Joy — The Song of the Soul
The angels said, “I bring you good news of great joy!” Joy that doesn’t depend on circumstances. Joy that’s deeper than happiness. Joy that comes from knowing God is near.
The shepherds didn’t find joy in riches or comfort. They found it in a manger. They left everything to encounter Jesus, and what they found was worth more than anything they’d ever known.
Joy isn’t the absence of struggle. It’s the presence of Christ. It’s laughter through tears, peace in uncertainty, and gratitude in the waiting.
This Christmas, joy might not look like celebration. It might look like quiet strength. But it’s still there, glowing like a candle in the cold.
Because joy isn’t found in what we have. It’s found in who came.
Reflection
How can you choose joy this Christmas, not because everything’s perfect, but because God is present?
