Humility — Heaven Came Low
The King of Heaven was born among animals and straw. The Creator of galaxies wrapped Himself in human skin.
That’s humility.
Jesus didn’t need applause to make an impact. He came quietly, in a place no one expected, to show us that greatness doesn’t need a stage.
Humility isn’t weakness. It’s strength under surrender. It’s choosing to serve rather than be seen. It’s saying, “God, Your way over mine.”
Christmas reminds us that God often works through small things. A baby in a manger. A simple “yes” from a young woman. A carpenter’s faith.
This season, may we learn from our humble King: that sometimes the greatest things are born in the smallest spaces.
Reflection
What would humility look like for you this Christmas, and how might it make room for God to move?
